Uniform
At Finaghy Primary School we regard the wearing of school uniform as very important to help children to gain a sense of identity with the school and to encourage them to take pride in their appearance.
Boys
- Grey trousers
- White shirt (Grey is also acceptable)
- Bottle-green ‘V-neck’
- Pullover
- Grey socks
- School Tie
- Black shoes
Girls
- Grey skirt, pinafore or trousers
- White blouse
- White knee socks or bottle-green tights
- Bottle-green pullover or cardigan
- School tie
- Black shoes
- (Option for Summer Term:
Green and white checked dress.)
All children are required to wear a PE kit for PE activities. Children are asked to wear the Finaghy Primary School branded t shirt with black jogging bottoms or black shorts for PE.
There are other branded iteems available from our uniform suppliers should parents wish to buy these, but these items are not compulsory.
Pupils should wear trainers or plimsoles only. For children who are too young to tie laces, we recommend slip ons or velcro fastenings.
P1 and P2 children can wear their school PE kit on PE days. Pupils from P3 upwards are asked to bring their kit to school and change in school.
Please ensure that the owner’s name is clearly marked on every item!!
Please Note
It is not acceptable for pupils to wear training shoes with their uniform.
Jewellery, Ear-rings, Ear-studs:
The wearing of jewellery, ear-rings and ear-studs, or any other forms of body piercing, is not permitted in school for either boys or girls.
